  The Pentax DCF WP II is the latest generation of a very popular and very successful line of full size roof prism binoculars. Utilizing the latest super reflective prism mirror technology, and fully multi coated lenses the DCF WP II offers some of the brightest images we’ve seen in a binocular under $500. Other outstanding features include a durable aluminum alloy frame, complete rubber armoring on the body, and a significant submersible waterproof rating. The internal chambers are filled with nitrogen so there’s is no chance of internal fogging as you move from one temperature extreme to another, e.g. a warm cabin to the cold wilderness. The DCF WP II 10x42 binoculars have a long 17mm eye relief and are standard with twist up eyecups that make the binocular perfect for use with or without eyeglasses.

  The product comes standard with a protective case, tethered objective lens covers, and an ocular lens rain and dust shied that’s cleverly oversized so it effortlessly flips out of your way when you raise your binoculars for viewing.

  If extended observation is on your mind then you’ll appreciate that the DCF WP II models come with a built in tripod socket and thus may be used with the optional Pentax TP-3 tripod adapter for easy use from a tripod.
