It will never be sold to anyone and will only be shared with the company who sends our e-mail, the company who helps us understand how people use our website, or with other stores within our company. Online Service -Several of our services involve storing personal information – Friends Club, etc. These services are designed for your convenience and help us to serve you, this information is not used for any other purpose.

Our business partners…
In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name, address, phone number and email available to such companies as United Parcel Service, Federal Express and the U.S. Postal Service.
We also contract with an outside firm to send our emails and we use outside firms to help us better understand your use of AuthorizedOptics.com. We do not allow any outside business partners to collect any credit card, user name, or password information, nor are they allowed to use data that they collect for us for any other purpose.

Removing your name from mailing lists…
If at any time you wish to have your information removed from our data base or have your email removed from our mailing list, please call 800-979-8890. You may also contact us via e-mail at customerservice@authorizedoptics.com. Please include your name and mailing address in the message.

2. Sales Tax Policy
The AuthorizedOptics.com website may advertise and/or offer to sell merchandise without a sale tax charge; these offers are extended to all purchases within the United States except to those with shipping address located within the State of Louisiana and Tangipahoa Parish. Any offer or statement made regarding no payment of sales tax is specifically excluded for those orders with a shipping destination within Louisiana and/or the Parish of Tangipahoa. Sales tax rates in Louisiana are 4% and an additional 3% applies for customers located within Tangipahoa Parish.

3. Shipping Policy
We know that our customers expect fast and reliable shipping. All orders are generally shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Unless you choose a freight upgrade most orders are shipped UPS ground and will arrive within 7 to 10 days. UPS tracking numbers are included on your order confirmation.

Alaska & Hawaii Shipping…
Listed freight charges in the checkout field are for the lower 48 contiguous states within the United States of America. Additional freight charges will apply for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Generically stated offers of Free Freight are specifically intended for shipping address within the lower 48 contiguous states within the United States of America, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are specifically excluded from these offers.

We understand that freight costs are an important shopping concern for our clients in Alaska and Hawaii, and we do everything we can to minimize this additional burden. However, shipments to these states incur higher costs. Customers shipping destinations within these states will be charged only for the actual shipping costs to the listed destination. We encourage all Alaska and Hawaii customers to call for freight estimates prior to ordering.
