Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50- Front Focal

For scopes used in true tactical situations fast target acquisition is a must. When our US Military was in need of a lightning fast rifle scope for small arms they came to Nightforce Optics for a solution, the answer provided was the NXS 3.5-15x50 F1. This rifle scope has its reticle located forward in the scope body, commonly referred to a first focal plane or front focal. Scopes of this build have the unique property of having its reticle magnify in the same visual proportion to its target across the full magnification range. This feature allows rifle scopes with range finding features or ballistic drop compensating tick marks to be used accurately at all magnification points. A great tactical design where getting on target is the priority, but perhaps not the best design for precision long range shooting as the reticle always covers the exact same space on the target, even at full power.
