  The Swarovski EL 8.5x42 WB is another one of our best sellers. Like the rest of the EL's this model has the open hinge design for easy one handed viewing as well as a light weight magnesium housing. The optical system produces high contrast and natural color reproduction under all light conditions. The EL 8.5x42 binocular also has the Swarobright coating on it's prism which optimizes color fidelity across the color spectrum. Swarobright also delivers 5-10% more light in the blue / green spectrum. Dioptic adjustment is a snap because the dioptic system is built into the focus knob.
  
  The twist out eyecups make viewing with or witout eyeglasses very comfortable. The close focus range for the 8.5x42 is 8 feet; this makes it an ideal bird watching binocular. Faster focusing is now possible since The new drive system is shorter than on previous models. The bino is fully rubber armored with perfect balance and ergonomic thumb impressions. The binocular is airtight, dustproof and waterproof and has a nitrogen filling that prevents internal fogging. It is even submersible up to 13 ft.
